Like every new show we put our best door forward and gamble a bit with characters, plots and story telling. However what we didn't know 'how large audience and for how long'. "It will be wrong to say that we didn't imagine how it will connect with audience. Had you ever imagined it would connect so much with the audience? That's why their chemistry is looking like magic." Their understanding of character or premise has been outstanding. As actors both have grown tremendously with this show. I think this has been their best as in today. Shaheer and Erica have excelled as Dev and Sonakshi. That's speaks volumes about the impact Kuchh Rang has created. It's been distributed across 5 different networks in 5 different languages while the original is on air. We have pan section audience for the show. "Kuchh Rang has been a benchmark for us in many ways. The show has created a benchmark for romance. I thank Sony and Danish for the trust on us."
I am happy that the audience lapped up something like Kuch Rang which has been "an experiment with conviction" instead of following the path. "It's been a very exciting and satisfying journey.
